Identify things that you use regularly where a small change will yield an immediate impact. This can be as simple as your cooking utensils, books, toys, shoes, clothes.

1.      MOVE EVERYTHING OUT OF ITS PLACE.

Using one of the items listed say the clothes, bring out all the clothes from the closet. It needs to be clean then wipe it clean.

2.      SELECT OUT YOUR FAVORITES.

This will be the items you still use regularly; have value and the ones you like.

3.      START ORGANIZING

Do this is a pattern that pleases your eyes, either in color, size, pattern, etc

4.      GIVE AWAY

Once everything is in place in the order that is easily assessable to you and pleasant to your eyes, you need to give out what those items that did not fall into number 2. They can include those dresses you have not worn in a whole year or two maximums, those kitchen tools you have more than three pieces, those bags that are broken, and of course you know what you need to give out.
